Ask Dr. Ron: Which areas in your home are most likely to breed bacteria or germs?

Dr Ron: “The bathroom and kitchen are obvious areas of contamination. Food preparation if not managed properly lends itself to risks of bacteria spreading and the shared facility of a toilet again can result in higher risks. However, most families are aware of these risks and target the rooms as hot spots.”

“The problem is the spread of bacteria out of these rooms. Families should pay attention on where hands will touch, such as door handles, stairs and toys. If people wash and dry their hands properly these areas are less at risk.”

We appreciate that when you use public toilets you are potentially exposed to germs if they’re not cleaned and monitored regularly. However, as long as you wash and dry your hands properly you significantly reduce the risk of infection. Our washroom solutions, which include anything from easy-to use soap dispensers to innovative Dyson airblade hand dryers, contribute to a germ-free and safe environment.
