As washroom enthusiasts we were excited when we found Luke Barclay’s book, ‘A loo with a view’. According to the world toilet organisation, we on average spend over three years of our lives on the loo, so it is important the toilets are not only clean, but nice places to be too. Luke Barclay made it his mission to find the loos with the best views and we think he did a fantastic job!
Firstly above (top of page) you can see a loo near Johannesburg Mountain. Perhaps a little public, but who could possibly resist this loo in the North Cascades national park. Here are a few more of our favourites:

In Mount McKinley, Alaska, you can have a wee while you marvel at a glorious view of the 20,320ft summit of the highest mountain in North America!

This loo is in Salir de Uyuni, in Bolivia: The toilet is 12,000ft high in the Andes in the middle of the world's largest salt flats, which covers an area of 4,085 square miles.

Tasman Glacier, New Zealand: This aerial shot shows just how close to the edge this toilet is! Imagine the view out of this window - If you don’t suffer from vertigo, of course!
Loo With A View, by Luke Barclay, is published by Virgin Books at £7.99. To order your copy with free p&p, call The Review Bookstore on 0845 155 0713.
