The British Association of Cleaning in Higher Education, known to its friends as BACHE, will be holding its Annual Conference and Exhibition at Keele University from Tuesday 15th to 17th June. During the event, the Albany team will be available to discuss the company’s higher education hygiene programme and washroom solutions, of which a free hygiene audit is a key component.

A recent survey, cited by ERIC, has highlighted some rather alarming statistics among our schools and we now wanted to share them with you:

Dr Ron: “The bathroom and kitchen are obvious areas of contamination. Food preparation if not managed properly lends itself to risks of bacteria spreading and the shared facility of a toilet again can result in higher risks. I visited a rather memorable public toilet at the weekend, but unfortunately it was for the wrong reasons.
